1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
HostKum offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all shared hosting plans. If you are not satisfied with our service for any reason, you may request a full refund of your hosting fee within 30 days of your initial purchase.
2. Eligibility
To qualify for a refund:
- The request must be made within 30 days of your initial hosting purchase (not renewals)
- The account must not have been suspended or terminated for AUP violations
- Refund requests must come from the account holder's verified email
- The service must be a shared hosting plan (other products listed below are non-refundable)
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not covered by the money-back guarantee:
- Domain registrations and renewals — non-refundable due to registry policies
- SSL certificates (other than free Let's Encrypt SSL)
- Add-on services (dedicated IPs, premium support, paid licenses)
- Setup fees for custom configurations
- Renewal payments after the initial 30-day window
- Migrations performed for free remain free, but cannot be refunded
- VPS, dedicated, and reseller hosting may have different terms — see your invoice
4. Renewals
The 30-day guarantee applies only to your first hosting purchase. Subsequent renewal payments are not refundable. To avoid unwanted renewals, disable auto-renewal in your client area before your billing cycle ends. We typically send a renewal reminder 14 days before charging.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Send an email to billing@hostkum.com from your account email
- Include your invoice number, account email, and reason for cancellation
- We confirm receipt within 1 business day
- Eligible refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible
6. Processing Time
- Credit/debit cards: 5–10 business days, depending on your bank
- PayPal: Within 1 business day
- Stripe: 5–10 business days
- Cryptocurrency: Refunded as account credit (network volatility makes refunding original amounts impractical)
7. Disputes & Chargebacks
8. Refund Denials for Policy Violations
Refunds are not available if your account was suspended or terminated for violating our Acceptable Use Policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable law. Examples include sending spam, hosting illegal content, or running services that disrupt other customers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy. Changes apply only to purchases made after the update. Existing refund eligibility for prior purchases follows the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
