1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing up for services, or using HostKum.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
These terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and HostKum ("we", "us", "our"). If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
2. Account Registration
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to contract
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by sub-users you authorize.
3. Services Provided
HostKum offers shared web hosting, domain registration, SSL certificates, email hosting, and related services. Specific features and resource limits depend on the plan you select. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.
4. Billing & Payment
Pricing and renewals
- Service fees are charged in advance for the selected billing cycle (monthly, annually, etc.)
- Auto-renewal is enabled by default; you may disable it in your client area at any time
- Renewal pricing matches your initial signup price unless otherwise noted
- All prices are in USD unless stated; local taxes may apply
Failed payments
- If a payment fails, services may be suspended after a 5-day grace period
- Accounts unpaid 30 days past due may be terminated and data deleted

5. Acceptable Use
You agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
6. Service Level & Uptime
We target 99.9% monthly uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance and force majeure events. If verified uptime falls below 99.9% in a calendar month for reasons within our control, you may request service credits. Service credits are the sole and exclusive remedy for downtime.
7. Customer Data & Backups
You retain ownership of all content you upload. You grant HostKum the limited license necessary to host, transmit, and back up your data to provide the service.
While we perform daily backups, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining your own backups. We recommend keeping local copies of important data.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- Fail to pay outstanding invoices
- Engage in fraudulent activity or chargebacks
- Use services in a manner that harms the network or other customers
You may cancel anytime from your client area. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days then permanently deleted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HostKum's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
10. Disclaimers
Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HostKum harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms periodically. Material changes are notified at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
